These are extremely classy, very finely woven scarves by Dain Daller. These scarve were woven at 60 ends per inch! That means there are 60 individual warp ends threaded into each woven inch, and about the same in the weft. These scarves have a warp ikat dye in the central part of the scarf, and an additional woven shibori dye that was dyed after the scarves were off the loom. The woven shibori edge was dyed with indigo. Note there are two varieties, one has horizontal tan bands, the other does not. The warp is 36/2 pima cotton. The weft is hand spun silk from india.
